About Me
Sushant Guleria belongs to Chamyanu village from Himachal Pradesh. He has always been fascinated by the role nature, environment and technology play in shaping our lives. After schooling in Himachal he went ahead to pursue his B.E. in Production Engineering from B.V.M. Engineering College, Gujarat. He worked with Larsen & Toubro for two and a half years and then decided to study Masters in Engineering in Industrial Design from PEC University of Technology, Chandigarh. In all these years he realised the how the need for energy is ever increasing and new generation solutions were needed with changing times.
He began his entrepreneurial journey by setting up for profit renewable energy company called Hillrooftop in Himachal. After this he pursued one year post graduation Naropa Fellowhip in Ladakh which works towards creation of leaders for sustainable development in Himalayan region and beyond. This fellowship helped him connect to a strong team and which was later registered as Navikarana trust in 2020. Sushant has always believed in intersectional approach to all the problems that we encounter in Himalayan region.
